Danny started working on vehicles while helping his dad at home. While the mechanical skills imparted by Danny’s dad were essential, the expectation for integrity and excellence displayed by both of his parents is what makes his approach to car care unique. Arnold and Doris Fox set a fine example of the importance of putting people first. In terms of automotive repairs, this meant treating your clients like family—and repairing their car as if it were your own. It is this customer-first approach that keeps our Lawrence, KS shop going strong!

Lawrence Automotive Diagnostics was opened in 1994 with the belief that a family-owned automotive shop committed to personalized and quality car care was the best way to serve the Lawrence, KS community. We don’t just repair and maintain your vehicles, but consider you a member of our extended family. Our honest and welcoming approach is what we are known for, and we pride ourselves on being a shop who serves entire families—second and third generation. No longer a small shop, we now have 13 repair bays, but we still take the time to catch up with everyone who walks through our door!

If you are popping in for a quick repair, air filter replacement, exterior light bulb replacement, wiper blade replacement, or tire service, enjoy our free Wi-Fi while you wait. If your car requires a longer stay, we provide after hours drop-off and pick-up, or you can schedule to use our free shuttle service.
